Russian shorts will be presented at The Kuki Film Festival

The Kuki Film Festival (Berlin) which will be held on November 10-17, 2013 has accepted 5 Russian animated films for the competition programme.
Among selected shorts are the following:
The Mole at the Sea (Anna Kadykova) and Snowflake (Nataliya Chernysheva) are included in the competition programme recommended for ages 8+; the short of Dina Velikovskaya My Strange Grandfather takes part in the programme for children aged 6+, and animation films Perelyotnaja (Vera Myakisheva) and My Mum is an Airplane (Yulia Aronova) are in the category for children aged 4+.
The Kuki Festival is organized along with the 29th International Short Film Festival Berlin. The first edition as a festival in its own right Kuki celebrated in 2008.
Approximately 800 short films are registered for the festival yearly. Festival programmes are formed for different age groups, for children aged 4+, 6+, 8+ 10+, 12+ and 14+. This year Kuki Festival presents 74 animation films from 35 countries.
