A conference dedicated to the film industry has started in Moscow

The conference Kinoobrazovanie v sovremennom mire (Training in Filmmaking in the Modern World) takes place at Moscow International Film School on November 15-24, 2013.
The event is part of the School efforts to promote debate on the current state of education and training for film professionals.
The conference is to address approaches to teaching filmmaking, the place of the film industry in modern society, and urgent issues of the animation industry. Film professionals have been invited to the Conference to contribute their experience to these discussions.
The conference program includes lectures, workshops, and conversations. As a part of the program the project Multtherapy is presented on November, 19 by Evgeniya Zhirkova, animator and director. There are several lectures and master classes devoted to animation planed on November, 22:
Animation teaching experience at Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts (Aleksey Karaev, director and animator);
Formation and development of animator (Elena Chernova, animator and teacher of Moscow animation school Shar);
Animation as a method of personality development (Elena Gavrilko, director and animator);
The day will be finished with a round table which concerns the problem of animation professional education.
On November, 24 Gayane Bagdasaryan, director, will touch upon the question of animation education in the USA with her lecture USA animation schools.
